Cookies and analytics
Short version: we only measure if you say yes. Until then — and if you say no — no analytics script runs and no analytics cookie is set. The waitlist works either way.

What the site sets
- Your language is part of the address — “/” for Hungarian, “/en” for English — so no cookie is needed to remember it.
- Your measurement choice is stored in this browser’s local storage, not as a cookie of ours. That is how the banner does not ask again.
- Fonts are served from this domain; your browser does not call Google Fonts.
- Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load only after you accept. They then set their own cookies to measure the visit.
- The waitlist form sends data only when you press submit, and only to our own server.
- Our host keeps short-lived technical server logs, including IP address. Those are not cookies, but they are processing, so we say it out loud.
The bar at the bottom of the page is the ask. Nothing is pre-ticked. One click to decline, and the site stays fully usable.
What we measure
To run ads around Vác we look at traffic and whether people reach the waitlist. Events are anonymous.
- Page views, including the path — “/” for Hungarian, “/en” for English — so the two languages stay distinguishable.
- Whether a waitlist submit succeeded or failed. The event name is waitlist_submit_success or waitlist_submit_error; it does not include what you typed.
- Clicks on the header and hero waitlist buttons (cta_click), so we can see if people start toward the form.
- Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session replay, to see whether people bounce before the form. The waitlist fields are masked in recordings.
- Your name, email address, and note are never sent to Google or Microsoft as event properties.
Your choice
You can change your mind here at any time. Declining stops new measurement; leftover analytics cookies from an earlier accept can also be deleted in your browser.
Checking your choice…
Your browser
You can block or delete cookies for any site in your browser settings. That also covers leftover Google Analytics or Clarity cookies after you withdraw.
What we do with the details you type into the waitlist: privacy notice.
